じゅうにがつ　にじゅうにち、ふゆやすみ　は　はじめました。　じゅにがつから　いちがつまで　ふゆやすみに、ひとりで　わたし　は　ちゅうごく　へ　いいたことがあります。　ちゅうごくご　が　できます。　ちゅうごく　の　ホテル　に　とまりました。　まいにち、ちゅうごく　の　りょうり　を　たべました。　ふゆやすみ　は、ホングコング　へ　いいたり、　ベイジング　へ　いいたり　します。　ベイジング　で　よかかいはつセンター　へ　いきました。　よかかいはつセンター　（Great Wall) は　ふるい　ですが、　きれい　です。　ベイジング　の　でんき　は　とても　さむかったです。　コート　を　きなければなりません。ホングコング　で　よく　かいものしました。

わたし　の　ふゆやすみ　は　とたも　たのしです。

I wonder what Japanese music everyone else in the class likes and listens to? One of my favorite Japanese artists is Utada Hikaru. Thats why, when we learned the two verbs うたいます (to sing) and　ひきます (to play a stringed instrument or piano) I thought it was funny how close these two words were to Utada-san's name. I wonder if that is her actual name, or if it's a play on words.

Regardless, she is a very talented singer and produces enjoyable music.
